Improving Success for Community College Men of Color
A Professional Learning Series for Takeoff Member Institutions
Join Dr. Shaun Harper, one of our nation’s leading experts on gender and men of color in higher education, along with Team Takeoff from the USC Race and Equity Center (Adrián Trinidad, A.J. Mada, Minh Tran, and Wilmon A. Christian III), for this six-session live series focused on practical approaches to improving the lives, experiences, and outcomes of men of color on community college campuses. Sessions are open at no cost to all faculty, staff, and administrators who work at our 15 Takeoff member institutions.
The six live sessions will be hosted on Zoom. Half of each hour will be devoted to content presentation; the remaining time will be spent engaging the audience in live Q&A with the host and presenter. At the end of this series, all employees at Takeoff institutions will be able to access video recordings and corresponding assets from every session in EquityConnect®, our center’s dynamic digital engagement platform. No-cost registration is required for each session.
