This report is intended for every K-12 school district and all schools across America. It introduces some reflective questions, eight practical leadership strategies for K-12 leaders advancing racial equity, and numerous concrete actions that will deepen and sustain racial equity initiatives in the face of book bans and censorship measures. Guidance is offered to school leaders who are serious about achieving equitable learning conditions and outcomes for students, families, and teachers of color, despite increasing public scrutiny and pushback.
